1.5 MW Generator Systems - Reliable Backup Power Solutions

We recently supplied four units of 770kVA industrial generators to Macedonia, which have been combined into two sets of 1.5 MW generator systems to provide backup power for two commercial buildings. By paralleling two generator sets to form each 1.5 MW generator, the system achieves enhanced operational flexibility and improved reliability. Under low-load conditions, one unit can operate independently to save fuel and reduce wear, while both units function together when full output is required. This configuration also allows for easier maintenance and future capacity expansion, ensuring continuous and adaptable power backup.

Based on the client’s feedback that the generators would serve only as standby power and remain idle most of the time, we recommended the parallel 1.5 MW generators equipped with the VMAN engine—a cost-effective and reliable solution perfectly suited for low-duty applications.
